Team Ikuzawa x Chris Labrooy Launch Tokusatsu Capsule

Automotive lifestyle brand Team Ikuzawa has joined creative forces with acclaimed artist Chris Labrooy to launch a limited-edition capsule collection inspired by the world of Japanese “tokusatsu” superheroes. Fusing art, motorsport heritage, and vintage cinematic nostalgia, the collaboration reimagines the Team Ikuzawa brand within a hyper-stylized superhero universe, complete with epic battles against classic kaiju (giant monsters) in a bold, live-action narrative.

At the heart of the collection is a stunning retro-futuristic motorcycle, co-designed by Labrooy. The bike pays homage to archival footage of Team Ikuzawa’s liveried racing motorcycles, blending nostalgia with a forward-thinking aesthetic that nods to 1980s Japanese racing culture.

The capsule features a range of exclusive items, including a red track jacket, graphic tees adorned with Labrooy’s signature art style, collectible patches, sticker packs, and other limited-edition pieces that celebrate the fusion of motorsports and pop culture.

This special collaboration will make its debut on April 17 at SELECT by BAYCREW’S in Toranomon Hills, Tokyo, offering fans the first opportunity to experience the collection in person. An online release is scheduled to follow on May 16, making the capsule available to a global audience.
