Bode Unveils FW25 Collection in Miniature Form, Reimagining the Fashion Lookbook
Authored by BDiGiT MAGAZINE

New York, NY — In a bold departure from traditional fashion presentations, Bode has unveiled its Fall/Winter 2025 collection in an unexpected and imaginative format. Rather than showcasing the garments on live models or through a standard lookbook, the brand presented the entire collection in miniature—on handmade dolls dressed in exact, scaled-down replicas of each design.
Nearly 80 photographs were released as part of the campaign, each capturing a tiny doll styled in a different FW25 look. The images are whimsical, detailed, and deeply artistic, drawing viewers into a theatrical world that is both nostalgic and novel.
This unconventional approach was inspired by The Expressionist, an unfinished musical by composer Moose Charlap. The influence is felt in every frame, with historic menswear silhouettes imbued with theatrical flair, and a surreal charm reminiscent of a forgotten stage production. The campaign blends meticulous craftsmanship with narrative depth, staying true to Bode’s longstanding commitment to storytelling through fashion.

Designer Emily Bode Aujla continues to push the boundaries of fashion communication, using this campaign to explore themes of memory, artistry, and the passage of time. The decision to use dolls—crafted with the same attention to fabric, proportion, and detail as full-scale garments—reflects the brand’s ongoing celebration of the handmade.
“By leaning into the miniature, we wanted to create something intimate and almost cinematic,” a source from the Bode team shared. “Each image feels like a scene, a moment frozen in a story you’re invited to imagine.”

With this latest release, Bode not only showcases its new collection but also reinforces its reputation as one of the most creative voices in contemporary menswear. The FW25 miniature campaign is a reminder that fashion is not just about what we wear—but how we choose to tell our stories.
